Pixelated Nightmare report

On December 9th, Jesse Dedman played through some of the NES’s not so brightest moments including Action 52, Spiritual Warfare, and Where’s Waldo, all for the purpose of raising money for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

If treading through the toxic slush of video game travesties wasn’t enough, Jesse Dedman did so without much of anyone watching. Sadly, the Pixelated Nightmare did not receive the crowd it intended, which left our hero in a bind to where he HAD to beat some of these horrendous titles. On the plus side, this was the first video game marathon held at Dedman Productions and was something of a learning experience. Next time, our advertisements would reach out further than social networking sites and apps. Next time, we will feature prizes and stuff that could be won, even though we we’re going to give out free vouchers for the Zombie Hunter DVD.

The lack of viewers played a heavy toll during games like Where’s Waldo and Alien syndrome, but regardless, the Pixelated Nightmare raised $223 for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital!

We thank all of those that helped. Everyone that watched, donated, tweeted, shared, and talked pixelated Nightmare, thank you. Those that didn’t, feel free to check out the event or a related event in the future.
